POSITION INFO:
A prominent infrastructure project in Nigeria requires a seasoned professional to lead concrete operations at a senior level. This opportunity offers the chance to oversee critical phases of bridge, dam, and heavy concrete works, ensuring structural integrity and project success within a large-scale construction environment. Duties: Supervise and coordinate concrete installation activities on site, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards Manage and mentor on-site teams, fostering a culture of quality and efficiency Liaise with project engineers and stakeholders to plan and execute concrete works within scheduled timelines Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of site safety Oversee material procurement and quality control processes to meet project specifications Report on progress, challenges, and resource requirements to senior management Requirements: Minimum of 10 years’ experience in heavy concrete, bridges, or dam construction Strong background in civil engineering, reinforced concrete design, and stormwater systems Proven leadership skills and ability to manage large teams on site Excellent understanding of construction safety standards and environmental regulations Valid passport and willingness to travel to Nigeria for project duration Nice to Have: Experience working on large infrastructure projects in Africa or similar markets Additional certifications in project management or specialized construction fields Benefits: Competitive salary ranging from Salary range $5k USD - $6.5k USD, plus an additional $500 USD food allowance Accommodation provided for the duration of the project This is an exceptional chance to contribute to a landmark infrastructure development while advancing your career in a dynamic, high-impact role.
