Conference & Events/Banqueting Floor Supervisor

POSITION INFO:

A high volume, full service hotel is looking to recruit a Conferencing & Events Floor Supervisor who is an inspiring, empowering and results orientated leader with a passion for service excellence whilst maintaining standards and meeting or exceeding financial goals.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supervise assigned shifts, including late shifts, to ensure venues are set up correctly and events run smoothly.

• Delighting the guests by offering trendsetting and innovative ideas and outstanding service experiences.

• Ensure staff are trained and can offer world class service to our guests.

• Lead a team of people, encouraging teamwork and personal accountability and thereby promoting staff engagement and retention.

• Delegate responsibilities effectively to meet event requirements and maintain operational efficiency.

• Support and supervise the team during events, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

Requirements:

• Matric

• A relevant tertiary qualification from a recognised South African or International Educational Institution would be advantageous.

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a busy, high demand environment.

• Own transport
