POSITION INFO:

Construction General Foreman (Site based) – Cape Town, Western Cape

R30 000 - R40 000 Per month Negotiable depending on qualification and experience

Our Client, an established and highly reputable Commercial Construction firm is currently in search of a hands-on, self-motivated and skilled General Foreman to join their dynamic team of professionals.

Responsibilities:

Accurate setting out
Reinforcing subcontractor management
Formwork subcontractor management
Ordering concrete
Managing concrete casting team
Managing concrete cube testing
Wet works management and setting out

Quality control

Assist with health and safety controls
Site logistic control
Manage wages staff

Qualification and experience required:

National Diploma in Building or related tertiary qualification
Minimum 5-15 years Structural Foreman experience gained within the commercial construction industry
Proven experience with medium to large scale projects i.e. R20 – R100 Million+ is highly preferred
Surveying background is advantageous!
