POSITION INFO:

Our Client a Leading Projects Company based in Middelburg is seeking a Senior Construction Manager within the Mining Industry.

Qualifications and Experience required:

• National Diploma and a B-Tech in Engineering (Civil/Structural/Mechanical/Electrical)
• Gained 20 years of experience in EPC, Renewable Energy, Pipelines, Heavy Concrete Works, Mining, Civil Structures and Bulk Works.
• Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineering Technician (Civil) and SACPCMP as a Professional Construction Manager a must have.
• PMP Certification will be an advantage.

Knowledge and expertise of the following:

• Project Construction Management.
• Structural / Mechanical / Piping Construction Projects.
• Experience in the Mining and/or Metals Industry.

You will be responsible for:

• Overseeing all onsite and offsite Construction activities to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
• Co-ordinate and direct construction contractors
• Management of materials and equipment and track invventory.
• Contractor and contract management.
• Analyse, Manage and mitigate risks.

Competencies:

• Working Knowledge of design packages.
• High level of Computer Literacy

Must be willing to travel between Mpumalanga and North West Province
