SUMMARY:
My client is seeking a suitably experienced Project Manager / Implementation Support Specialist - Built environment on a fixed term contract until 31 March 2025.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements

Relevant B degree, preferably in the Built-in-Environment or related field.
Project Management qualification (PMBOK or Prince or Similar) and professional accreditation with the Project Management Institute is required.
Registration as a Professional Construction Project Manager with the SACPCMP will be an added advantage.
Extensive work experience as an implementation support specialist across multiple areas of government (approximately 7 - 10 years).
Proven experience of at least 7 – 10 years in leading and supporting the implementation of multiple projects or programmes with competing deadlines and challenges.
Strong understanding government planning cycle and processes.
Demonstrable track record of working with high level government stakeholders.
Good understanding of the PFMA.
Comprehensive knowledge of the complex regulatory environments of municipalities, state-owned enterprises and other government entities in South Africa.
Demonstrated ability to take personal responsibility for project outcomes to ensure success
Proven exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability collaborate with other teams and lead without direct reporting relationships.
Experience in building collaborative relationships with clients and internal contacts
Proven ability to work well under pressure in a proactive, agile project-based environment
Experience in working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Projects)
