JOB SUMMARY:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Salary dependant on skill, experience and qualifications. 

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Proactively analysing the business need and to create a specification for the development of learning programmes and learning interventions which is aligned to the business need
  • Consulting with relevant stakeholders across various business areas in order to establish relationships and networks;
    Gathering information about products in relation to key needs and requirements and developing a comprehensive curriculum to cater for the needs of the business
  • Conducting research in order to identify best practices and to design a blended learning approach which will meet the business requirements
  • Assisting with the management of learning interventions
  • Producing relevant learning programmes and materials
  • Training and guiding the trainers on effective and proper use of the training materials
  • Maintaining and standardising training material and ensuring that best practice guidelines are followed
  • Continuously evaluating both trainers and the effectiveness of the training material
  • Developing material based on technical product information and specifications
  • Assisting in creating a Learning and Development strategy in alignment with the greater organisational development
  • strategy, and the business strategy;
  • Identifying initiatives in alignment with business requirements and strategic objectives.

Content Development

  • Standardising of training material currently being used
  • Making use of excellent design skills to develop new training material (i.e. presentations, booklets, handouts)
  • Making use of excellent English and Communication Skills to proofread and edit training material to ensure training material is of top quality

E-Learning

  • Creating content for E-learning platforms
  • Standardising the current content on the E-learning platform
  • Assessing of exams if and when necessary
  • Marking and moderating exams if and when necessary
  • Assisting with training co-ordination if and when necessary
  • Booking lecturers, flights, accommodation
  • Assisting with transportation of material
  • Assisting with all backend work of consolidating registers, certificates, communication to delegates on results etc.
  • Liaising with consultants and facilitators and developing training material from their concepts
  • Any other duties as required by the organisation

Minimum Experience and Qualifications Required:

  • Any relevant tertiary qualification
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role required
  • Experience working on Canva
  • Experience working with various software packages will be advantageous
