Continuous Improvement (CI) Analyst

Our client, a well-established supply chain equipment company, is seeking to employ a Continuous Improvement (CI) Analyst at their head office in the Northern Suburbs.

This role is for individuals who have a passion for analysing data with the aim of generating operational, tactical, and strategic insights through collaboration and business understanding with key stakeholders.

Requirements:

• At least 1 to 2 years’ entry-level experience required.
• Must be able to independently research, plan, implement and optimize outputs across multiple operational business units with the company and Control Tower.

Responsibilities:

• Assess Control Tower gaps in operational, tactical, and strategic reporting, understand the detailed requirement and implement applicable reporting to answer to its needs.
• Ability to analyze data, create reports, provide insights and recommendations.
• Work with the Continuous Improvement team to improve on data visualization and reporting capability of the company in order to enable decision making in operations.
• Work with key stakeholders to understand the business problem / requirement and translate this into a technical specification / requirement (storyboarding).
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to build tools, dashboards and automate processes or tasks.
• Advanced MS Office Suite skills (especially Excel) and Google product suite.
• Demonstrable experience with Power BI (other additional data visualization software tools advantageous)
• Use analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, analyze and interpret large data sets in order to provide insights and data-driven suggestions for transport cost optimization initiatives.

Salary: Market Related.

Area: Northern suburbs, Cape Town.
