JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Contract Manager for a long term contract vacancy based in East London, Eastern Cape

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

Grade 12 with relevant management qualification as well as 5+ years’ experience in contract management / staff management in the cleaning sector
Valid driver’s license, knowledge of industry specific laws and MS Office literacy
Due to their equity plan, a female candidate is ideally sought

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

Manage all subordinates and ensure working standards are as per SLA requirements
Arrange counselling and wellness campaigns for staff
Monitor time schedules, manage leave and maintain & implement discipline
Prepare for strikes and stay away’s and handle performance appraisals
Manage unions and recruitment of staff
Ensure contracts are signed and forms submitted timeously
Site management – inspections / audits
Attend meetings with clients, respond to challenges and circulate minutes
Identify work opportunities to generate additional income
Training and development of staff
Health & safety – inspections, uniform control and PE requirements
Toolbox talks twice weekly
Display of chemical data sheets and handle staff medicals
Ensure waste management procedures are followed

Salary: R20 000.00 – R30 000.00 per month CTC
