SUMMARY:
Contract Software Engineer in Test required for a company in Edinburgh (can be remote).
POSITION INFO:
Contract Automation Test Engineer (C#) required for a company in Edinburgh (remote).
This role will be for an initial three months but is likely to extend beyond this, and has been determined as outside IR35. The company can offer a rate of around £350 per day.
This technical company don''t really have any dedicated Test Engineers within the company, and the Developer tends to look after the testing. The development team have created a range of automated tests (unit, compliance, system), and are keen for a dedicated Test Engineer to have a look over them, and look for any areas of improvement.
In particular they are looking at automated system tests, and you will need to have experience with C# for automated testing. They also use Jenkins for the build process, so it''s necessary that you have experience with this. You should also have strong back-end testing experience as this is where the core of your work with be.
You should have experience with the following skills/experience:
**Automation testing experience using C#
**Experience in a .Net environment
**Jenkins
**Automated system tests
**Experience working closely with Developers
**Strong communications skills
**Medical domain experience would be a bonus
