JOB SUMMARY:
Well established business seeking Contract Specialist Legal Advisor.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 5 years relevant management experience in the Private Security Sector a must
Grade 12; Law- or similar degree
Admitted as an attorney in the High Court of South Africa
Sound knowledge of South African Labour-, Insurance-, Contract- and Commercial Law
Computer literacy; Good interpersonal skills, communication- and writing skills
Language proficiency: English and at least one other official South African language (read, write and speak)
Accountability and integrity; Must have excellent presentation, writing, verbal communication and report writing skills
Have sound knowledge and understanding or relevant legislation; Willing to work long hours/overtime as and when required
Own transport.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities includes, but are not limited to Drafting, review and negotiating contracts
Ensuring compliance in terms of governance aspects
Managing change requests and disputes relating to contracts
Tracking of contract renewals
Facilitating the signing of agreements and necessary resolutions
Renewal of contracts and recording of specific data
Legal due diligence
Compiling regular updates with regards to changes relevant and applicable to statutory and common law insofar it relates to the industry and business of the Group
Conducting legal administration
Minimizing legal risks and breaches
Address non-performance transactions
Processing and drafting of legal reviews and opinions
