JOB SUMMARY:
Well established financial services business is seeking to appoint a Contract Specialist Legal Advisor.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Grade 12; Law- or similar degree
Admitted as an attorney in the High Court of South Africa
Minimum of 5 years relevant management experience in the Corporate Commercial Sector
Sound knowledge of South African Labour, Insurance, Contract and Commercial Law

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drafting, Review and negotiating contracts
Ensuring compliance in terms of governance aspects
Managing change requests and disputes relating to contracts
Tracking of contract renewals
Facilitating the signing of agreements and necessary resolutions
Renewal of contracts and recording of specific data
Legal due diligence
5 years strong solid commercial drafting experience with an array of contracts and agreements
