Contract Test Lead for a global technology company in Glasgow (onsite 2 days a week).
This is an urgent six-month contract, paying around £425 per day, via an umbrella company (so deemed inside IR35).
You'll be working on a pivotal project for them - an ERP upgrade that involves a move from on-premise to the cloud (AWS).
Day-to-day you will be responsible leading a team of around seven Test Analysts, ensuring that they are confident in the work they are doing and able to meet key deadline and deliverables. You'll be working closely with stakeholders, keeping them updated on the progress of the team. A part of your role will also involve carrying out software testing, with a particular focus on system integration testing.
You'll have most of the below skills/experience:
** Managing Testers, ensuring they are meeting deliverables
**UAT experience, working with customer and business on this
**Stakeholder management
**An ability to research and advocate for relevant tools/processes/improvements
**System testing, acceptance testing
