Contracts Implementation Specialist

SUMMARY:
Our client based in Johannesburg is looking for a Contracts Implementation Specialist to ensure key business requirements are met including continuity of supply, meeting business requirements and minimization of financial and legal risks.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications

• An undergraduate qualification – Bachelor degree/Diploma or equivalent
• Experience/exposure to supply chain processes over a period exceeding 3 years, would be considered essential
• Experience in the Mining industry and/or procurement function
• Strong commercial acumen with in-depth experience in Management of Contracts and spend

• Demonstrates an advanced understanding of strategic sourcing and contracts management tools and their application, and is able to apply to medium projects

Responsibilities

• Supports fact-based, business focused implementation and planning processes for the Corporation
• Supports engagements with internal stakeholders and supply market experts and data sources to ensure successful implementation and sustainability of key category strategies and supplier contracts
• Liaises with BUs to plan and implement value driving activities and ensure measurement and realization
• Extracts and analyses key supplier data points and feeds them into relevant category strategies
• Aligns with legal and regulatory bodies to ensure development of risk adverse implementation plans
• Supports the collection of metrics which provide an accurate view of customer satisfaction and supplier performance/compliance for the Corporation
• Supports the implementation of control actions in collaboration with suppliers and the Business Units to improve performance
• Supports the development of relationships with internal regional stakeholders by collecting and responding to internal customer’s feedback and supplier performance
• Ensures personal compliance to the Company procurement policy, procedures and methods and proactively provide continuous improvement feedback to the enablement team
