A close-knit team of young professionals with an international footprint has rapidly been changing lives across sub-Saharan Africa with their off-grid systems, now they are looking for a sharp, entrepreneurial and like-minded professional to join their dynamic team as a Contracts and Compliance Officer. They are looking for a legal eagle, to manage all their external legal contracts with government and funders. You will have your Juris Doctorate degree ideally from UK or New York jurisdictions (as this is where most of the funders are based) as well as 3+ years of work experience at an Associate level. Your responsibilities will be duly split, 50% on compliance reporting and the other 50% managing and handling the finance contracts. In terms of the legal contracting expertise, you will see yourself managing the structuring, negotiation, contracting and execution of all their legal contracts with a major focus on risks (identification) and liabilities. Contracts will not just be limited to corporate and project finance transactions.
