The Role As the Control Systems Design Engineer , you will be responsible for the design, development, programming, testing, and commissioning of industrial control systems. Working closely with Electrical, Mechanical, Process, and Project Engineers, you will deliver reliable, safe, and efficient automation solutions that meet client specifications and industry standards. Key Responsibilities Design complete control system architectures for industrial automation projects. Develop control philosophies, Functional Design Specifications (FDS), Cause & Effect matrices, and I\/O schedules. Design electrical control panels, MCC interfaces, and instrumentation systems. Develop PLC software using platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric, or Mitsubishi. Design and configure HMI and SCADA applications. Specify instrumentation, field devices, VSDs, motors, and industrial networking equipment. Prepare electrical schematics and panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN. Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and commissioning activities. Troubleshoot, optimise, and upgrade existing automation systems. Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure all designs comply with applicable safety standards and industry regulations. Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and post-project handover. Minimum Requirements BEng\/BSc\/BTech in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or Control Systems Engineering. 3-8+ years' experience in industrial automation and control systems engineering. Strong PLC programming experience (Siemens TIA Portal, Allen-Bradley Studio 5000, Schneider EcoStruxure, or similar). Experience developing SCADA and HMI applications. Sound knowledge of industrial communication protocols including: Profinet Profibus Modbus RTU\/TCP Ethernet\/IP Please send your cv to
