POSITION INFO:
As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled Electrical Control & Instrumentation Engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of control systems and instrumentation used in critical infrastructure and industrial processes.
Role Overview:
As an EC&I Engineer, you will be responsible for specifying, designing, and supporting electrical and instrumentation systems. You’ll play a key role in ensuring plant safety, operational reliability, and regulatory compliance while working on both new installations and system upgrades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop control systems, including PLC, SCADA, and DCS architecture
- Specify and select appropriate instrumentation and control equipment
- Produce technical documentation: Wiring diagrams, loop drawings, and control philosophies
- Commission and troubleshoot EC&I systems on-site
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and project specifications
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and project teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Participate in HAZOP and risk assessments where applicable
Requirements:- Degree or HNDip in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in EC&I engineering
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and Schneider) and SCADA/HMI systems
- Good understanding of electrical schematics, P&IDs, and control panel design
- Familiarity with ATEX, IEC, or ISA standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to travel to site locations when needed
