SUMMARY:
Real Estate Attorney, Conveyancer & Notary

POSITION INFO:

A well established law firm in Illovo, Sandton is seeking to employ a Conveyancer to head up their Conveyancing Department. This is a BEE position.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
• Admitted Conveyancer 
• Admitted Notary Public
• Proficient with GhostConvey and E4
• 10 years plus post admission experience

Key Performance Areas: 

• Maintaining bank panels
• Attending to transfers and bonds from inception to registration
• Drafting and preparing all manner of Notarial documentation, notarial bonds, pledges, cessions, etc
• Finalising finances
• Drafting and peparing of commercial documents in relation to bond registrations, e.g. Suretyships, Cessions, Pledges, etc together with commercial property transfers, etc
• Advising banks and commercial institutions on risk mitigation in relation to security
• Drafting, preparing and advising commercial clients in respect of commercial agreements in relation to property related transactions
• Commercial Development experience
• Experience with transactions both in respect of commercial and residential properties

Remuneration - negotiable depending on experience
