SUMMARY:

An exciting opportunity is available for a Corporate Actuarial Analyst to join a highâperforming actuarial team within a dynamic insurance environment. This role is well suited to a motivated actuarial professional who enjoys working collaboratively, is confident engaging with stakeholders, and is ready to contribute from day one.

POSITION INFO:

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting core actuarial and financial reporting activities, while also contributing to process improvement, automation, and analytical insights across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the calculation, analysis, and review of technical provisions
Assist with the preparation and analysis of actuarial inputs for financial and regulatory reporting
Contribute to the development, testing, and maintenance of actuarial models, processes, and controls
Work closely with actuarial, finance, audit, and capital teams to ensure accurate and compliant reporting
Identify opportunities for process improvement, digitisation, and automation
Apply actuarial principles to support reporting across a range of insurance products
Deliver highâquality work in a fastâpaced environment, demonstrating the ability to hit the ground running

About the Ideal Candidate:

Requirements:

Degree in Actuarial Science with strong academic results
Nearly or newly qualified actuary (ASSA or equivalent)
3+ years’ experience in an actuarial role, preferably within insurance
Experience in reserving and/or actuarial reporting
Exposure to financial reporting frameworks (e.g. IFRS 17) advantageous but not essential
Strong analytical and problemâsolving skills
Programming or data skills (e.g. VBA, R, and Python) are advantageous
