SUMMARY:

A leading specialist insurer, within a global insurance platform, is seeking a Corporate Actuarial Analyst to join its growing actuarial function. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an analytically driven individual to further their actuarial career in a collaborative, forwardâthinking environment.

POSITION INFO:

You will play a key role in supporting corporate actuarial responsibilities, working closely with actuarial, finance, capital, and audit stakeholders. The role provides exposure to technical reserving, financial reporting, and evolving actuarial frameworks within a dynamic insurance setting.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Supporting the calculation and analysis of technical provisions for financial reporting
Assisting with the preparation, review, and analysis of IFRS 17 actuarial input
Contributing to the development, testing, and maintenance of IFRS 17 models, processes, and controls
Collaborating across actuarial, finance, capital, and audit teams to ensure accurate and compliant reporting
Driving process improvement, digitization, and automation initiatives
Applying actuarial principles to niche insurance products and reporting requirements

The Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will be technically capable, curious, and eager to contribute in a collaborative environment.

Minimum Requirements:

Degree in Actuarial Science with strong academic performance
Nearly or newly qualified Actuary (ASSA or equivalent), with membership of a recognized actuarial body
3+ years’ actuarial experience, preferably within shortâterm insurance
Strong exposure to reserving and actuarial reporting
Exposure to IFRS 17 advantageous but not essential
Programming skills in VBA, R, Python, or similar considered beneficial
Strong analytical, problemâsolving, and communication skills
