Corporate Banker: North Cluster

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Public Sector, has an EE opportunity available for a Corporate Banker: North Cluster to be based in the Centurion area. This position will be for 24-month contract.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Relevant three year qualification - Financial Accounting/ Financial Management/ Credit or Investment Management
• 5 years Post qualification experience which will typically include the following:
• Management of client relationships preferably in a financial and customer facing environment
• Appropriate experience in structured or leveraged finance
• Knowledge to analyse a set of financial statements and do an assessment of financial/credit risk
• Practical knowledge of discounted cashflows, corporate valuation methodologies
• Experience in modelling transactions
• Knowledge of credit principles and practices and relevant legislation
• Knowledge of industry and business cycles
• Knowledge of standard banking compliance requirements
• MS Office
• Knowledge / Experience of financial and business analytical principles, tools and systems
• Knowledge of business environment
• Structuring of corporate transactions
• Financial Modelling

KPAs:

• New business development and Risk Management
• Pursue leads and opportunities in consultation with line management to grow complex transactions / deals / market segments
• Client and stakeholder relationship management
• Engage with clients and visits client on site to ensure that complex deals and risks can be identified and dealt with professionally and timely and will involve management in the process as and when required
• Assists with packaging and structuring the deals and present to clients
• Manage relationships in accordance with policies, procedures and legal requirements
• Coordination of new deal applications, security management and reporting – end to end transaction process
• Prepares for the Credit Committee submissions and presents complex transactions for portfolio as required
