SUMMARY:
Amazing opportunity for a Corporate Finance Accountant (CA) with a listed company.in Cape Town.

POSITION INFO:

My client a leading FMCG company requires a competent and experienced Corporate Finance Accountant (CA) to join their team.

This position is reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.

Duties

Assist the Group CFO with implementing organic and acquisitive growth strategies across the Group.

Responsible for the financial and economic analyses of proposed organic and acquisitive growth opportunities, assisting with negotiations and reviewing legal agreements, managing deal implementation (including due diligence and regulatory filings), assisting with debt and capital raising and preparing documentation and presentations to the Board and relevant subcommittees.

Identify organic growth opportunities for the various Group companies

Work with Group companies to identify cost reduction and efficiency opportunities

Identify acquisitive growth opportunities for the various Group companies

Financial forecasting and modelling

Valuations (DCF, relative, WACC, NPV) and returns analysis (IRR, ROCE, dilution)

Deal implementation

Assist the CEO and CFO with deal negotiation and support

Undertake and/or manage due diligence providers (internal, financial, tax, legal, HR, etc.)

Manage lawyers and review legal agreements

Manage regulatory approvals: competition, JSE, SARB

IFRS3/PPA valuations

Assist with debt raising processes

Assist with equity raising processes

Produce initial / draft reports

Prepare business cases and investment committee and general presentations

Post implementation reviews

Assist with the interim and annual results process

Assist with managing the analyst community, including site visits

Assist with investor relations

Requirements:

(CA) SA qualification ESSENTIAL

Minimum of 4-5 years’ post articles experience in a listed company

Strong leadership & management skills

Strong project management skills

SA Citizens only

Must be Criminal and Credit Clear

Must reside in the Greater Cape Town Area

Experience in/with:

Due Diligence processes

Legal agreements

Debt markets

Capital markets

BBBEE Codes

Companies Act

JSE-Listing Requirements

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Computer literacy – MS Office (With a high proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

Team player (very important).

Ability to work in isolation and in Groups.
