Corporate Security Manager

SUMMARY:

An established international manufacturer of specialised agrochemicals is looking for a dynamic person to deploy Risk-Based, Intelligence-Led Security programs across AME, maximising the impact of security programs and leading AME security program delivery by driving external security networking activities with industry associations, government agencies, and security networks and by educating, influencing, and supporting stakeholders at all levels covering all relevant corporate security matters.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Must have relevant Bachelors’ degree or higher
• At least 3 years’ experience working as part of a Corporate Security is essential
• Experience in engaging with multi-management levels across technical users and business units is important
• Must have experience in creating/maintaining as-built documentation owned jointly across a team
• 3 years’ experience working for authorities in the field of Intelligence Management would be an added advantage
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel across Africa to lead the Security program deployment

• Measuring, monitoring, and reporting the effective performance of Security programs & processes to the Business Areas and Corporate Security leadership.
• Leading critical investigations in AME including asset, people, information, and product-related issues.
• Supporting critical intelligence dissemination in AME aiming to anticipate threats related to activism, among others.
• Supporting Legal IP professionals in building intelligence, steering and supervising investigations aiming to develop evidence to be used in critical IP and TM litigations.
• Supporting Post-Patent Teams in shaping legal and regulatory actions, including the selection of targets and processes to obtain evidence to be used in court.
• Leading Anti-Illicit Trade program initiatives and specific deployment for AME.
• Supporting the business to improve E2E product protection.
• Supporting program governance (CoP, Processes, and Tools), ensuring continuous improvement.
• Working closely with project sponsors, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives on post-patent implicating security matters.
• Detecting insider threat activities against critical information assets.
• Investigating detected case in collaboration with compliance.
• Anticipating threats/support intel dissemination, managing risks/address security improvement plans and acting in critical incidents and steering complex investigations.
• Enabling the business to own and drive their site security improvement.
• Managing facts gathering Security investigation processes for all security issues.
• Liaising with Legal, the business and relevant authorities (i.e., custom, police, etc.) for all matter related to Anti-Illicit Trade to deliver successful cases in AME.
• Managing the production and timely delivery of Security set of KPIs to reinforce management understanding and ownership.
• Managing the Anti-Illicit Trade consultancy and external services budget for AME to ensure a strong return on investment.
• Representing the company in all Anti-Illicit Trade networking activities in AME, aiming at improving legislation and exchanging information and best practices.
