Job & Company Description:
A reputable and expanding industry player, is seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to join their finance division based in Springs.
This permanent role is perfect for a technically strong professional who excels in a fast-paced project environment and has solid experience managing financial and multicurrency project portfolios. You will play a key role in financial oversight, cost control, budgeting, and reporting across complex project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and analyse project costs, budgets, forecasts, and financial performance
Oversee multicurrency project accounting and ensure accuracy of cost allocations
Prepare project financial reports, variance analyses, and cash-flow projections
Support project managers with financial insights to drive cost optimisation
Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and financial governance
Monitor financial risks across multiple projects and recommend corrective actions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial efficiency across operations

Job Experience and Skills Required:

BCom plus CIMA qualification (completed)
5+ years’ experience in project accounting, cost controlling, or financial project environments
Strong exposure to multicurrency and project-based financial systems
Analytical, detail-oriented, and confident operating in a high-accountability environment
Experience within manufacturing, construction, or mining industries is essential
