SUMMARY:
My Focus Client in the Manufacturing Industry is recruiting for a Cost Accountant that has experience working in hard industries coupled with 3 to 5 yearsÃ¢Â€Â™ experience in the cost accounting function.

POSITION INFO:

BCom Accounting
CIMA Busy
3 – 5 experience

Duties but not limited to:

Responsible for the management of complete stock take function
Responsible for stock take planning and post mortem feedback with all relevant departments
Ensure stock take accuracy and completeness
Ensure stock takes are conducted according to SOP
Responsible for stock take verifications
Responsible for stock valuations and ensuring that it is accurate and complete
Variance analysis reporting and improvement
Responsible for identification of areas of risk and improvement
Managing and reporting on stock ageing
Effective reporting on stock write offs and losses
Review and manage correct model stock levels to hold and impact on working capital
Working closely with relevant production departments, finance department and management in managing and reporting on stock
Identify relevant and meaningful reporting needs
Identify areas of improvement and risk mitigation
Find solutions to streamline reporting
