Cost Accountant

Job Description


This global export expertise is looking for the expertise of a Cost Accountant, who is multi-disciplined and tenacious to join their high performing finance team on a 6 month contract.
The individual who will be successful in filling this role will be tasked with providing high level and proactive cost accounting services to operational management. There will be no training, therefore hitting the ground running is the order of the day.,


You will be responsible for the following:

• Ensuring cost of products is accurate and includes all relevant costs of production
• Manage and control all stock related transactions and paperwork
• Stock and production reports, including production variances

Qualifications:

• Completed BCom Degree (non-negotiable)
• Relevant professional qualification CIMA or ACCA (preferred)

Experience:

• 5 years’ experience as a Cost Accountant in an international company
• Knowledge and experience in costing, finances and inventory
• Advanced Excel experience

• Time management skills
