JOB DESCRIPTION:

A well - established company in the manufacturing industry is now on the lookout to launch the costing department and implement strategies and structures. The ideal individual for this role will have firsthand experience with cost modeling and manage all various cost measures.

The ideal individual for this role will be an ambitious person and will have a passion for the costing role that they do, therefore someone with the ability to take challenges head-on.

The key responsibilities for this role will include:

BOM
WIP
Costing standards
Labour costing
Variance analysis
Cost Modelling
Management

As you will be responsible for hitting the ground running experience is essential. You will also be directly involved with the full costing function including standard costing, overhead absorption as well as inventory control.

The requirements:
Qualification:

Completed B. Com accounting degree or B. Tech degree in Cost and Management accounting
Completed Honours will be advantageous
Completed CMA (Non-Negotiable)

Experience:

6+ years’ experience in a costing role

Skills Required:

Syspro experience is essential
Deadline driven
