JOB SUMMARY:
Cost Accountant

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Financial processing & reporting
- Operation cost control & allocation
- Preparing operational cost budgets
- Cost reporting for operations
- Asset register control
- Operation purchasing & pricing control
- Month end process
- Work close with operations management and staff
- Support to plant management and Financial Department
Stock Management
- Implementation and control of spare inventory management system
- Manage inventory
- Ensure that Stock levels are adequate
- Manage, control and organise inventory counts
- Stock value control
- General Housekeeping of warehouses
Supervision, coaching and mentoring of staff members.
Grade 12 / Matric with accounting as a subject
Degree in Finance / Cost & Management Accounting
Post graduate qualification may be advantageous.

5 - 8 Years working experience in a similar field
Experience in cost management
Experience in spares inventory control
Must be an action orientated person

Analytical skills
Attention to detail
Communication Skills
Be able to work under pressure
Must be a result driven person and forward thinking
Take responsibility for his/her continuous professional development. Maintain high level of confidentiality

Work cordially and professionally with internal and external constituents
Candidates must reside in a close proximity (Doornbosch, Lannex & Tweefontein)
Must have own transport
Steelpoort / Burgersfort area.
