Key Responsibilities:

Manage costing, budgeting, and forecasting for production and engineering projects
Analyse manufacturing and operational costs to improve profitability and process efficiency
Prepare and maintain standard cost models and conduct variance analysis
Collaborate with project, procurement, and operations teams to support financial decision-making
Ensure accurate and timely month-end reporting, reconciliations, and analysis
Maintain strong inventory and cost control systems, ensuring alignment with accounting standards
Support audits, compliance, and internal control processes

Job Experience and Skills Required:

BCom or National Diploma in Accounting / Finance – essential
3–5 years’ experience as a Cost and/or Management Accountant within manufacturing or engineering
Proven tenure and stability in previous roles - long-term commitment valued
Strong analytical and costing skills with attention to detail
Exposure to SAGE preferred; Syspro advantageous
Strong working knowledge of Excel
Methodical, reliable, and able to thrive in a high-performance technical environment
