POSITION INFO:

Our global chemical and energy client in Sasolburg is looking at appointing an experienced Management Accountant on a 6-month contract.

Must reside in SASOLBURG.

Clear credit record (ITC), clear fraud record and clear criminal record.

Reference checks will be conducted - must have a great track record.

Bachelors' degree completed - Finance and Financial management / Management Accounting

No less than 4 years' relevant work experience

Proficient with SAP - Not negotiable

Responsible for :

Financial analysis

Provide insights for decision making purposes at operational level

Draft accurate financial and management accounting reports

Drive compliance

Ensure SAP journals are correct, as it flows into the GL accounts cost allocations

Cost center analysis

Draft monthly cost reports

Monitor cost saving initiatives

Analyse data received for budgets and forecasts

Conduct variance analysis

Preparation of monthly forecast Ensure SAP structures align with value chain requirements

Calculation of product costs

Creation of accruals and provisions

Prepare month recons for GL accounts

Additional requirements:

Matric completed

Excellent report writing skills

Great presentation skills

Excellent communication skills - Afrikaans and English

Financial and business acumen

Computer literate / learn systems easily

Medically fit
