SUMMARY:
Manufacturing concern based in Cape Town, has an opening for a Cost and Management Accountant (EE) to join their team. Ensure profits are maximised through managing revenues and expenses using accurate data and reporting. Report directly to the Financial Manager.

POSITION INFO:
Position requires a CA(SA) or CIMA candidate, with 3+ years Cost and Management Accounting experience within a manufacturing / production concern. KPI''s:
Internal & External Auditing
Statutory Tax

Monthly preparation and reconciliation of the Tax Asset Register.
Monthly preparation of Vat Return.
Implementation and monthly preparation of the IT14SD reconciliation.
EMP201 Filing.

Financial Management

Timely & Accurate Month-end Processing.
Reconciliation of BS Accounts.
Timely & Accurate Weekly Sales Reports.
Timely & Accurate submission of monthly management pack.
Monthly analysis of the financial accounts.

Cost and Management Accounting

Weekly reporting on yield losses; GP analysis; Prof Stats.
Report Stock unit cost on monthly basis to assist Sales Dept. with customer pricing.
Update BOMS & Std Costs; Create new Stock Codes on SAP & ECC.
Assist DPI Clerk with variances on Production Orders; Process Stock adjustments as needed.
Monthly reconciliations and analysis of stock financial accounts.

Fixed Assets

Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register.
Asset Verification.
Monthly fixed asset register reconciliation.
Custodian for all Fixed Asset and Stock Master Data.
Annual fixed asset useful life and residual value reviews.

Internal and External Controls

Assist with controls, procedures and supporting documentation for the audit process and enforcing controls.
Assist with resolving audit queries internal / external auditor where required.

Assist with requested documentation and reports for the internal / external auditor.
