SUMMARY:
Our client in George is seeking a Counter Sales Representative with technical knowledge of electrical products. The successful candidate will provide excellent service to walk-in customers, contractors, and electricians while driving sales and ensuring accurate order processing.

POSITION INFO:
Description:

Serve customers at the counter, providing technical advice on electrical products and solutions
Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products
Generate quotations, process sales, and handle invoicing
Maintain accurate records of sales and stock movements
Handle order preparation, picking, and packaging for delivery
Ensure the counter area is clean, organized, and well-stocked
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers
Assist with stocktakes and inventory management
Respond promptly to customer queries, complaints, and product inquiries

Requirements:

Proven experience in sales or counter work within the electrical industry
Strong knowledge of electrical components, wiring, and related products
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer literacy (MS Office, stock or sales systems)
Ability to read product specifications and technical documents
Own transport and a valid driver’s license
