Country Manager (Scaffolding/Insulation/Painting) - Mozambique

SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Regional Manager –Africa, the incumbent will be responsible for Sales, Management and Operational Control of the company’s entity in Mozambique including branches and branch managers.

Country Manager – Mozambique (Scaffolding/Insulation/Painting)

Must have knowledge of PIR/Cellular Glass applications.

Description

• Reporting to the Regional Manager –Africa, the incumbent will be responsible for Sales, Management and Operational Control of the company’s entity in Mozambique including branches and branch managers.

Duties

• Achieve the set budgeted Sales targets on an ongoing basis
• Increase market share in Mozambique
• Measure, manage and report the entity’s financial performance monthly
• Performance management of staff and ensuring the entity is geared to perform
• Implement and maintain the company’s SOP’s and SHEQ policies & procedures
• Manage and improve the relationship with clients and expand the scope of work beyond current services

Requisites

• 5 -10 Years previous Country Manager or Senior Project Manager experience in a Scaffolding/Civils
• Excellent knowledge of Insulation (Hot, Cold and Cryogenic), Scaffolding and Painting/Fireproofing products and technical their application in a project setting
• Good business development skills, financial & admin skills and understanding of logistics and local taxes/duties
• A self-starter with good time management, interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to sell to and build/strengthen relationships with local and international customers
• The personality/ability to manage, lead and inspire the local team
• The ability to relate and interact with local staff and stakeholders within Mozambique where Proficiency in Portuguese and/or Swahili will be a bonus
