JOB SUMMARY:
Our Client is looking for a Credit Controller to join their team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities
• Process accounts and incoming payment in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and
recording accounts receivables’ data
• Resolving any queries related to the debtor accounts
• Prepare and process bill, invoices, bank deposits and documents
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and
properly posted
• Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues
• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
• Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
• Reporting monthly on debtor status
• Calculating and processing of trade discounts
• Process credit notes and claims for customers
• Manage and administer COD accounts with the sales

Qualifications and Experience:
• Senior Certificate
• Qualification in Administration and Finance will be advantageous
• 5 years’ experience as a debtor’s clerk in a similar environment
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets (MS Office) and accounting software (Syspro)
