SUMMARY:
Multi-national logistics concern has an opportunity for a well experienced Credit Manager with a completed B.Com Finance degree (preferably Hons) and previous experience in a similar role. Knowledge of IFRS and experience as well in a Finance role is essential.

POSITION INFO:
Full responsibility for the local AR with a focus on credit and collection management, credit analysis, master date and query handling
Maintain credit risk exposure
Evaluate risk classification and financial approval of credit lines
Monitor receivables and agree collections approach
Carry out all aspects of credit management including monitoring payments, initiation of collection processes and procedures
Approval of customer refunds
Request and action letters of demand
Conduct collections management
Reporting on age analysis, overdues and bad debt provision
Responsible to manage the interface between the local business for AR related topics
Lead the AR team

B.Com degree in Accounting (Honours is highly advantageous)
SAP advantageous, or large ERP system
10 years in Credit Management
Previous experience in transport and logistics is advantageous
