SUMMARY:
A large Retail concern is looking for an Assistant Credit Manager to join their team in Cape Town. You will be responsible for the management of all credit-related issues and legal compliance

POSITION INFO:

Approval of new member applications and ensure all documentation is correct
Check affordability of potential owner
Check cash flow projections to ensure that store will be profitable.
Securities available for the franchise for stock purchases
Bank guarantees wording is correct
The set-up of legal documentation (Notarial Bonds)
To reduce risk and potential loss within the business
Compliance to the National Credit Act
Regular discussion with Divisional Managers and accountants on progress of approval on applications
Ensure Credit Limits and store opening notifications are sent
Review debtors Age Analysis on a regular basis to ensure payments are done
Regular discussions with Divisional Managers and Accountants on Status of Member Accounts

Min Requirements:
5 years experience in Retail/Franchise industry
