Credit Risk – Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager

About the Role:
This is a dynamic opportunity for a Senior Consultant or Assistant Manager to play a pivotal role within a specialist Credit Risk team. You will collaborate with experienced Actuaries, Quantitative Analysts, Statisticians, and risk experts to deliver cutting-edge solutions to banks, corporates, and institutions across diverse sectors.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Develop and calibrate credit risk models, including PD, LGD, and EAD
• Validate and monitor IFRS 9 impairment and regulatory models
• Deliver portfolio credit analytics, benchmarking and peer analysis
• Create scorecards, behavioural pricing frameworks, and risk strategy models
• Contribute to audit support, regulatory compliance, and advisory engagements
• Present findings and solutions to clients in well-structured reports
• Mentor Junior Analysts and contribute to a high-performing team culture

• Undergraduate Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Actuarial Science, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in credit risk modelling or financial services consulting
• Strong understanding of the credit lifecycle, model development processes, and IFRS 9 and Basel regulations
• Coding proficiency in SAS, R, or Python (SAS Enterprise Guide an advantage)
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and business acumen

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to work with cross-functional teams and build client relationships
• Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members
• Comfort working in a hybrid model, balancing autonomy with collaboration
