Creditors Administrator

Job Description

Location: Western Cape, City of Cape Town, Rondebosch

Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time (6-month contract)

Primary Industry: Property and Real-estate

Secondary Industry: Accounting

Salary: ZAR18000 - ZAR20000 per month

Job Duties:

• Processing and reconciling invoices from creditors
• Managing supplier accounts and payments
• Resolving any discrepancies in billing and payments
• Preparing and processing payment runs
• Maintaining accurate records of all transactions
• Assisting with month-end closing activities related to creditors

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in creditors administration or a similar role (particularly within Property Management will be beneficial)
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practises
• Proficiency in using MS Excel and accounting softwares, namely MRI and/or NDA (MRI will be advantageous)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

• Grade 12
• Relevant certificate / qualification in Accounting or Finance

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in creditors administration

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of financial regulations and compliance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Organisational and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certification in accounting (e.g., ACCA, CIMA)

Working Conditions:

• This is a temporary position based in Rondebosch (6-month contract)
• Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
