POSITION INFO:
Pingo Delivery invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the Creditors Clerk. The role is responsible for management of allocated supplier accounts, which includes data validation, reconciliation of accounts and maintaining a good relationship with the suppliers. This role is situated in Durbanville, Cape Town. This role gives exposure to an exciting industry • To ensure that policies and procedures are followed with regards to the utilisation of suppliers. • Ensuring that invoices and statements received complies with the standard of valid documents. • Interact with suppliers to ensure that statements and invoices are received on time. • Ensure that invoices are received weekly and processed on the system. • Must be able to perform reconciliations accurately and timeously. • Resolve queries on accounts, no queries older than 30 days. • Ensure that aging report only has current transactions. • Assist with the take-on of new suppliers. • Validation of supplier documentation and keeping records up to date • Assist with month-end accruals and ad-hoc financial duties. • Assist with GL allocation confirmations. Assist with yearly audit requirementsMinimum: • Grade 12 • Further qualifications beneficial Personal attributed • Attention to detail. • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. • Positive, confident, self-motivated and a team player Readily and willing to assist fellow team members where needed
