SUMMARY:
Creditors Clerk – Helderberg Area (Strand/Somerset West)

Our client is a dynamic and growing medium-sized business offering professional management and accounting services to a diverse client base in the Helderberg region.

With a strong focus on service excellence and innovation, they are looking to expand their finance team with a reliable and detail-oriented Creditors Clerk.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable:

Capture and process supplier invoices accurately.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Follow up on reconciling items and outstanding queries.
Prepare and schedule weekly supplier payments.

Payroll Support (VIP Payroll):

Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing.
Update and maintain provident fund contributions.
Manage and update staff debt records.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar Creditors Clerk role.
Proficient in Pastel Evolution (Evolution).
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
Fluent in English and Afrikaans (written and spoken).
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new systems (e.g., Sigma, Instant Retail).
Payroll experience using VIP will be a strong advantage.
