POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description:
A well-established property development company is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Creditors Clerk to join its finance team. Reporting to the Financial Manager, this role is essential in ensuring the efficient management of the accounts payable function.

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing supplier invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely payments. This role plays a key part in supporting procurement processes, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with internal financial procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain the accounts payable process
Accurately process and record supplier invoices
Verify invoices against purchase orders and supporting documentation
Ensure timely supplier payments in line with agreed terms
Prepare weekly and monthly payment schedules
Process petty cash claims and reimbursements
Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve discrepancies
Handle supplier queries efficiently
Maintain up-to-date supplier records and onboarding documentation
Create purchase orders and ensure procurement compliance
Maintain audit-ready financial records

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Completed Matric
Diploma or Degree (advantageous)
2 - 3 years’ experience in financial administration
Experience with creditors, reconciliations, purchase orders, and invoicing
Experience with Xero Accounting Software will be advantageous
