  Essential Functions:

  • Capture supplier invoices and link them to stock receipts.

  • Request supplier statements weekly to ensure all supplier invoices are captured before month end closes.
  • Follow up on POD deliveries
  • Follow up with suppliers for credit notes when goods are returned to supplier
  • Prepare month end payments list by the 16th of the month together with a supplier reconciliation.
  • Get the procurement manager to approve all supplier payments lists between 17th and 26th of the month
  • Filling of invoices, ensuring supporting docs to invoices are followed up on and filled with invoices.
  • Check on a weekly basis that the GRN account is cleared and balancing to GL account
  • Assist with all general supplier queries
  • Update internal systems with all relevant information required
  • Assist all departments with competing the expense approval form. Relevant department to get the expense approved by the department manager or financial manager. Once expense is approved, assist with creating a purchase order
  • Capture sundry supplier invoices
  • Ensure sundry supplier are processed for payment according to their terms
  • Ensure daily capturing of supplier payments. All payments must be matched against supplier invoices.
  • Ensure all suppliers are paid on time.
  • Assist FM with all ad hoc creditorsâ?? functions
  • Processing of supplier credit applications. Follow supplier vetting process for onboarding all new suppliers
  • Taking full ownership and accountability for request sent to the department.
  • Set each team member up for success in your team
  • Building relationships with suppliers
  • Liaising daily with the relevant departments in Aptronics
  • Speedy resolution of queries
  • Constant knowledge share with team members
  • Assist the team when required
  Skills and Experience:

  Essential Qualifications:

  • Matric

  •  

    Qualification in Bookkeeping and/or Accounting

  Experience required:

  • Function related experience: 5 years
