JOB SUMMARY:
Creditors Clerk Crown Mines

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are recruiting for a Creditors Clerk permanent position preferably a BCom (finance accounting) graduate but will consider diploma +5years relevant experience, must be office proficient and have working knowledge of Pastel/Sage (thus a teachable spirit will be ideal) . They will be reporting to the Accounting manager with R20 000 CTC.

Working hours 8h00-17h00 Monday to Friday, no work on weekends.

The functions stated are similar, a few additions as stated below:

Invoicing will be done by the finance assistant, so their role will be to review and sign off (training will be provided)
Preparing creditors payments (within set deadline for cash forecast), remittances and send the paid ones to respective suppliers
Loading payments is not included
Monthly creditors recons and perform correctional journals
Reviewing inter-store, manufacturing and inventory journals and queries
Attending to general creditors queries
Occasionally requesting statements from suppliers (though finance assistant duty)
Preparing claims from suppliers as discussed with the procurement department (they will serve as the link between finance and procurement)
Any adhoc requests from senior management.
