JOB SUMMARY:
Manufacturing concern, based in the West Rand, is looking for a Creditors Clerk to join their team. Experience with Syspro essential. Local and foreign experience essential.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications:

National Senior Certificate
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in same or similar position

Duties:

Reduce all retail claims
Ensure invoices are not put on hold for payment, due to outstanding credits
Reduce turnaround time on new credit applications
Ensure accuracy of customer details being put onto Syspro for orders to be executed quicker and payments collected easier
Processing of Invoices (match to GRN's)
Receipt and confirmation that all supporting documentation is well received and processed
Match Local & Foreign Supplier invoice to GRN
General Ledger account allocations - Direct Costings
Supplier Queries/outstanding documentation
Follow up on all missing invoices - comparative to Supplier Statements
Address Costing Differences / missing documentation - to completion
Attend to GRN Suspense account queries
Assisting Internal & External audits/queries/adhoc reports
Supplier Reconciliations
Reconcile all local Creditor accounts
Ensure Supplier statement agrees to AP Trial Balance - per Syspro Account
Ensure Creditor reconciliations are prepared and signed off by Production Manager
Filing and sequence control of all Creditor documentation
Processing of Supplier Payments
Raising payment vouchers, ensure authorisation by Production Manager
Load Supplier payments
Allocation of payment to corresponding supplier
