SUMMARY:
Creditors Clerk needed to be based in Bedfordview, Johannesburg East.

POSITION INFO:
As the Creditors Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient processing of invoices and credit notes, accurate monthly reconciliations, timely payment of creditors, and comprehensive audit and creditor reconciliation.

Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will contribute significantly to our financial stability and reputation.

Responsibilities:

Process supplier invoices and credit notes accurately and efficiently in the accounting system.
Verify and reconcile invoices against purchase orders, delivery notes, and supplier agreements.
Prepare and submit payment requests, ensuring adherence to payment terms and deadlines.
Conduct monthly creditor reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoicing and payment-related queries.
Assist with the audit process by providing necessary documentation and information.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date creditor records, including contact information and credit terms.
Monitor and manage supplier accounts, ensuring proper allocation of payments.
Prepare reports on creditor aging, outstanding payments, and cash flow projections.
Stay updated with relevant accounting principles, regulations, and industry best practices.

Requirements:

Matric or equivalent qualification.
Proven experience as a Creditors Clerk or in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
