POSITION INFO:
A detail-oriented 3 month contract opportunity within a regulated and quality-driven environment, supporting end-to-end accounts payable processes and ensuring financial accuracy across local and international transactions. Responsibilities Manage the full accounts payable function end-to-end Process supplier invoices, credit cards, and travel expenses accurately and on time Perform monthly creditor reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Ensure all transactions are authorised, compliant, and correctly documented Prepare payment packs and ensure suppliers are paid within agreed timelines Handle foreign payments in line with regulatory requirements Maintain accurate accruals and ensure correct financial period allocation Conduct bank and GL reconciliations with no outstanding reconciling items Monitor and resolve age analysis items within required timelines Process journals and maintain supporting documentation Support month-end reporting and audit readiness Assist with ad hoc finance tasks as required What we are looking for: Matric \/ Grade 12 Bookkeeping diploma or degree with accounting as a subject Minimum 2 years' experience in a creditors or accounts payable role Strong reconciliation and numerical skills Experience with ERP systems, SAP advantageous Proficiency in MS Office and financial systems Understanding of accounting principles and financial controls Experience with banking processes and accounts administration Immediately available individuals only Advantageous Knowledge of SARS-related legislation Exposure to financial audits and compliance environments Benefits and unique aspects: Exposure to regulated finance operations and compliance frameworks Opportunity to build expertise in SAP and financial reporting processes Involvement in international transactions and foreign payments Growth pathway toward AP & AR supervisory roles Experience in a quality-driven and audit-focused environment Please note if you haven't heard back from us within two weeks of submitting your application, unfortunately your application has not been successful this time.
