SUMMARY:
Our client in the Engineering Industry, has an EE opportunity available for a Creditors Controller in the Benoni area.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Grade 12 (Matric)
Advantage: Bachelors Degree (3 years) in Financial Accounting, or Business Management related field of study.
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role as creditors clerk, or in a Financial Accounting environment with exposure to supplier payments and supplier invoices.
Computer literate with knowledge and experience in Excel
Ability to work overtime when required

KPAs:

Processing daily of supplier invoices, to the correct accounts and with correct descriptions or references where applicable
Preparing monthly and weekly supplier reconciliations for all suppliers with a balance due
Compile a monthly report of all queries from suppliers
Ensuring that supplier invoices have been properly authorized
Supplier Audit files are initiated, updated and maintained
Submit an accurate weekly 3 week cash flow forecast
Take complete ownership of supplier database and ensure all relevant information is obtained and maintained correctly
