Creditors Team Lead

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree is required
• Minimum 7 years’ previous working experience within a similar Credit Controller and/or Accounts Receivable position is required
• Knowledge and/or working experience involving medical devices and International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD) 10 Codes is required
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills are required
• Previous working experience using the JD Edwards (JDE), Salesforce, and EZmed system software is advantageous 

Job description & Skills:

• Processing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) submissions and interpreting authorisation letters for accurate billing in accordance and/or compliance with International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD) 10 Codes
• Performing reconciliations of the billing system including the invoicing report
• Managing the overdue invoices, collections, and allocating payments to the relevant consumers
• Providing the weekly and monthly end reporting of the debtor’s book
• Conducting daily cash sales reconciliations and allocations from pay fast and bank accounts
• Engaging with customers and managing customer account details to monitor non-payments, delayed payments to ensure that Sales Force software data is updated
• Ensuring that payment discrepancies are appropriately investigated and resolved
• Managing the accounts receivable customer files and maintaining the data integrity by ensuring that are accurately recorded and/or compiled
• Providing updates and reports on the daily activities of the Finance team involving collections, dunning letters, and/or ad-hoc duties and tasks
• Monitoring customer accounts placed on hold and overseeing dunning letters and communications
• Facilitating the management of the Post Office Box (POB) mailbox system
