SUMMARY:
An established international manufacturer of agricultural chemicals requires the above to develop and implement crop campaigns to achieve the growth and revenue goals of the organization, implementing marketing strategies within the deciduous fruit and cereals portfolio range on existing products and new product introductions, and to manage the commercial product life-cycle of the portfolio.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have a degree in Agriculture, Biotechnology or Biological Sciences, with preference to a Master’s degree
At least 8 years’ working experience in the agricultural industry will be required
An extensive background and/or education in crop agronomy or related field is essential
Must have a sound understanding of the seed industry, crop protection, seedcare and on the farm activities
A well-rounded understanding of commercial and product development concepts, key marketing and sales processes and long term technical concept positioning whilst being able to deliver upon short term, will be required
Must have strong project management and communication skills

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Designing detailed campaigns, including high level content defined together with asset marketing and sales.
Liaising with marketing services and external agencies in relation to content generation and execution.
Translating offers to customer (channel and grower) needs and detail, including delivery plan, pricing and commercial offer.
Following project management principles to implement Marketing Campaigns.
Ensuring campaigns are executed in line with marketing budget and plan set by the campaign team.
Working with Sales, conduct campaign planning and post campaign in-field measurement of campaign effectiveness, including Integrated Solutions.
Supporting the necessary activities to ensure business continuity during the transition.
Supporting the integration of the marketing teams, including the definition of new processes/ways of working and fostering mindset change.

Salary package is highly negotiable depending on experience
