POSITION INFO:

Our client a modern professional cryptocurrency tax firm, who is helping clients in South Africa and internationally, to calculate their cryptocurrency taxes using advanced software, is looking for a Data Integration Developer.

This role will entail

• Write Python scripts for data analysis
• Assist the data team with building various backend and front-end solutions
• Query APIs and normalise and analyse data
• Importing and reconciling crypto asset data up to point of tax report
• Importing and reconciling FIAT (Bank accounts and invoices) data up to point of report
• Interact with the Data Analysis and Data Reporting team
• Interact with clients regarding contextual queries

We are looking for someone who has a high attention to detail, has a great work ethic, and is very bright (and can catch on quickly).

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelors Degree (Commerce, Accounting etc.)
• Technical inclination
• Analytical and numerically strong

Nice to have:

• Understand concepts such as: Crypto exchanges, wallets, HODL, Airdrop, Staking, Hard fork and so on. If these sound familiar, then great.
• Passion for cryptocurrency and crypto assets, or willing to wanting to learn

You don’t have to know anything about tax - this is a tech role.
