POSITION INFO:
A specialist within the electrical connectivity and industrial solutions space is seeking a Project Sales Engineer to drive new customer acquisition and project-based sales. You will identify new opportunities, develop relationships with project customers and provide solution-based technical sales support across electrical and industrial applications. The role requires someone who is comfortable being in front of customers, understands the project sales cycle and can translate technical requirements into commercially viable solutions. Education: Matric Electrical Engineering qualification or relevant electrical trade qualification Electrical or Instrumentation Trade Test would be advantageous Valid driver's licence Job Experience & Skills Required: Minimum 5 years' external technical sales experience within the project environment Strong new business development and customer acquisition experience Experience managing project-based sales opportunities and pipelines Technical understanding of electrical cables and connectors Knowledge of PLCs, VSDs, Fieldbus I\/O systems and sensors advantageous Ability to interpret customer requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions Strong quotation, negotiation and closing skills CRM and sales pipeline management experience Excellent customer relationship and communication skills Ability to identify cross-selling opportunities and develop new accounts Apply now!
